Tax Free Prices to Non-European countries. How do we do it?

What does this mean and how do we do it?

Several online shops claim this, few or none can prove it.

Puroexpress.com is owned by Bjorck Bros. S.L. a company located in the free trade zone of the port area of Gran Canaria Island, Spain. To be approved into the free trade zone took us over 6 months. And to be legally operating with all the customs approvals another 6 months.

The advantage of our free trade zone company is that we can import cigars and put them in our warehouse, without paying EU import tariffs, local value added taxes, and local protectionist taxes. We can re-export the cigars without paying taxes.

As long as our cigars do not enter Spain or the European Union, we do not pay taxes on our cigars. Thats a huge saving. And is reflected in our prices to you.

All our cigars are controlled by Spanish customs. This means that our supplier must present proper documentation including Certificate of Origin. Once in our warehouse, customs controls our inventory through the CEDOP (inventory software in the customs server). We have to update all inventory movement in their server. We also get spot inventory checks, and spot document checks. Thus, we can only deal with Authentic Cuban Cigars.

To have prices as low as ours shops must buy from distributors at Duty Free prices. All distributors have the same purchase price. To this you must add Taxes, duties and levies. This means that if you are not in the Free Trade Zone, your prices start at distributor price plus all the taxes plus the shop margin.

When you buy from us, the price starts at distributor price plus our margin. But NO taxes. Taxes are between 30-40% of what you pay for in none free trade zone shops.
